Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information HypnoSlimming collects, why, and what your rights are. We’ve kept it short and in plain English.

Who we are
HypnoSlimming (hypnoslimming.com) is run by Digital Alchemy FZ-LLC, the company behind Adam Cox’s hypnotherapy work. For anything to do with your personal information, email adam@adamcox.co.uk and Adam will reply personally.
The short version
- The eating habits check runs in your browser. Your answers are not saved or sent anywhere.
- If you sign up for the free downloads, we use your name and email to send your code and occasional emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- We never sell your information or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
What we collect and why
The eating habits check
When you take the check, your answers and results stay on your own device. Nothing is sent to us, and nothing is kept once you leave the page.
Free downloads sign-up
If you sign up for the free downloads on go.hypnoslimming.com, we collect your first name and email address. We use them to email you your code, and then to send occasional emails from Adam with advice and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Your details are kept in our email system (Systeme.io) with a label showing you signed up for the free downloads, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Bookings and payments
Consultations and sessions are booked and paid for on our booking pages (courses.adamcox.co.uk), which run on Systeme.io. We receive your name, contact details and what you bought. Card payments are handled by the payment provider, and we never see or store your card number.
Downloads from The Hypnotist’s Store
Hypnosis downloads are sold through our Shopify stores. Shopify handles those orders under its own privacy notice.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you. Please do not send detailed medical information by email.
Website logs
Like almost every website, our web host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies and similar technology
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you use the light or dark switch at the top of the page, your choice is saved in your browser so the site remembers it. This is not sent to us. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and ask for your permission first.
Our legal basis
- Free downloads sign-up and occasional emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
- Bookings and payments: to provide the service you asked for, and to meet our legal and accounting duties.
- Emails you send us: our legitimate interest in replying to you.
- Website security and logs: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website.
Who handles your information for us
- Systeme.io: booking pages and emails
- Google Workspace: our email account
- Hostinger: hosting for this website
- Cloudflare: domain and website traffic services
- Shopify: hypnosis download stores
- Payment providers on our booking pages
Some of these companies store information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the legal safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
- Eating habits check answers: not kept at all.
- Free downloads sign-up: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details. If you have not opened any of our emails for two years, we delete them.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
- Booking and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or send it to you in a usable format. Email adam@adamcox.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Adults only
HypnoSlimming is for adults. If you are under 18, please do not send us your details.
Your health
The eating habits check is a guide, not a diagnosis. Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical care. If you are worried about your health, please speak to your GP.
